Leather collars care:

Genuine leather dog collars and leashes are designed to maintain their beauty for years. Nevertheless, as with any natural product, leather collars and leashes need on going care.

Lei Custom Collars conditions its leather products prior to shipping. However, in a similar manner to any leather goods (shoes, jackets, …), it is recommended to routinely condition the leather in order to revive and restore its looks.

We recommend that you follow the conditioner manufacturer instructions. Please test the leather conditioner on the least noticeable area prior to full application. Please use a clean nonabrasive cloth to wipe the hardware.

For light color leather collar use leather cleaners and condition that are Non-Darkening products.

**Remember** Take care of your dog’s leather collars as you take care of your leather shoes, bags and jewelry - avoid getting it excessively wet or exposed to harsh elements for a long period of time. It is recommend using the collar for special occasions.

If the collar gets wet, please let the collar dry on a flat surface not in the sun or near source of heat.
