At Lei Custom Collars, each leather product is conditioned before shipping. Still, just like with leather shoes, jackets, or bags, we recommend routine conditioning to preserve softness, restore luster, and prevent drying or cracking.

• Always follow the instructions provided by your leather conditioner’s manufacturer.

• Test the conditioner on a small, hidden area before applying it to the entire collar.

• Use a clean, non-abrasive cloth to gently wipe metal hardware.

• For light-colored leather, use a non-darkening leather cleaner and conditioner to prevent discoloration.

Treat your dog’s leather collar with the same care you give to your favorite leather accessories:

• Avoid excessive exposure to water, harsh sun, or extreme weather.

• We recommend using leather collars for special occasions rather than everyday rough-and-tumble play.
