How to Measure Your Dog's Neck:

Each collar is handmade based on your provided measurements, and no two collars are exactly alike. To ensure a

perfect fit, do not guess and do not use an old collar as a reference. Instead, follow the steps below carefully:

​Method 1 – Cloth Measuring Tape

1. Use soft, flexible cloth measuring tape.

2. Wrap it around the middle of your dog’s neck, where the collar will sit comfortably.

3. Ensure it’s snug but not tight — you should be able to slide two fingers under the tape.

4. Record the number where the ends meet.

Method 2 – String + Measuring Tape

1. Use a piece of string and wrap it around your dog’s neck in the same way.

2. Lay the string flat and measure its length using a regular measuring tape or ruler.

Note: Do not add extra length. We will account for adjustments when crafting your collar.

Choosing the Right Collar Width

The width of your collar affects both comfort and style. Here are some general recommendations:

• 3/4 inch – Best for extra-small dogs

• 1 inch – Ideal for small dogs

• 1.5 inches – Recommended for medium to large dogs

• 2 inches – Best for large and strong breeds, offering maximum support and bold style

Wider collars provide better weight distribution, greater visibility, and allow for more intricate designs. However, they

also weigh more, which may not suit small or lightweight dogs.

We can taper any collar width down to a 5/8" wide buckle for improved comfort and reduced weight. This is especially

helpful for small dogs who need the support of a wider collar but not the bulk.

If you'd like a tapered design, simply leave a note for the seller at checkout with your taper preference — for example:
"Please taper the 1.5” collar down to a 5/8” buckle."
